Check out the April issue of LATITUDES & ATTITUDES magazine.  DOMINO is the featured boat with lots of pictures.  We like!

On an other note... As blessed as we are with our cruising schedule and destinations, sometimes disaster strikes and we must alter our plans.

The plan was to slink our way through the islands of Central America: Honduras Bay Islands, the Hobbies, Providencia, San Andrea, Albuquerque, and slide into Bocas del Toro (Panama), taking 6 weeks for a lazy journey.  Instead, life happened and we rushed the 450 NM between The Hobbies and Bocas in 40 hours.  We dropped anchor, cleared into Panama, checked the flights out.  And here I am, in California while JP stayed with DOMINO at anchor.

Life happened.  Our son-in-law, Ace, was taking our grandaughter Zoe for a quiet Harley ride down the street.  One mile on a straight road between his house and the Sunset Aquatic Park.  On the way back home, a car turn left and hit the motorcycle head on.  Zoe flew over the car and suffered "only" a broken arm but the emotional scars are deep.  Ace, however, is all broken up.  After 9 days in a coma, he came to.  His injuries are massive but his ortho team at UCI trauma center is performing miracles.

For the moment, I'm playing grandma, lending support where I can.

To the 7,000 readers who follow this blog faithfully, thank you for your kind words, thoughts and prayers.  Ace will get through  this, Zoe will heal, life will never be the same again.

But I'll be back on the boat soon and will post again about destinations.  Right now, we are on a journey of another kind.

Live for the moment...
